Fidelia^® adds Integration for Compaq (HP) Insight Manager

Princeton, NJ – September 2, 2004– Fidelia^®Technology, the leader in Instant Business Visibility™ software, today announced announced its products, NetVigil and Helix now allow out-of-the-box reporting of Insight Manager metrics on their ProLiant, Integrity, and HP 9000 systems. This will allow users to manage HP clients, printers, and selected storage products.

Fidelia's products can now report on key performance metrics discovered and identified by Insight Manager from HP server platforms running Windows, Linux, and HP-UX and selected management of other platforms such as NetWare, Tru64 Unix, OpenVMS, and Nonstop Kernel using it.

Netvigil users can extend their monitoring to include device management with plug-ins for storage, client, printer, and power management. It also allows integration with web-based tools through XML-based tool definition files. Netvigil may be used to extend management of non-HP devices through industry standards such as SNMP, SSH, WBEM, and WMI and its ability to discover and launch vendor-specific web-based management tools.
