Fidelia^® adds Suse support for running NetVigil

Popular Linux distribution to run Fidelia Netvigil monitoring software

Princeton, NJ – May 25, 2004– Fidelia Technology, today announced support for Suse Linux for running its flagship monitoring software, NetVigil.

In addition to Solaris, Windows and Redhat Linux, NetVigil will now run on Suse distributions as well. With this addition, Fidelia NetVigil is the only software package to run on such a wide variety of operating systems while allowing mixing platforms in a single distributed deployment.

A single Linux server running Fidelia NetVigil can monitor thousands of network and server elements. The distributed architecture allows scaling on demand by deploying NetVigil on additional Linux servers, thus giving unmatchedscalability for very large IT environments.

NetVigil for Suse Linux is available now.

The NetVigil application is affordably priced for mid-tier enterprises, but scalable for Fortune 500 organizations. The Web based user interface, ease of use and very low total cost of ownership has enabled a number of enterprises to replace their aging IT management systems with the newer generation Fidelia product. Licenses for NetVigil v3.6 start at $40,000, with an average price of approximately $80,000 to $100,000. To date, Fidelia has filed for four patents on the NetVigil intellectual property. NetVigil runs under Solaris, Linux and Windows.
